At NeoGen, we build partnerships for the long term. We work closely with a small group of vendors in each sector to increase quality, reduce cost and provide a competitive advantage for our clients.
Our vendor management program seeks long term relationships over short term gains and marginal cost savings. Constantly changing vendors in order to save a cent here or there will cost more money in the long run and will impact quality.
A well managed vendor relationship will result in increased customer satisfaction, reduced costs, better quality, and better service from the vendor.
Selecting and Monitoring Supplier Performance
NeoGen places considerable emphasis on the use of our of web based applications that provide our client with real-time project data. This allows our clients to be kept informed as to the progress of each stage in the print schedule. We have a comprehensive Print Service Level Agreement (SLA) in place with our subcontractors.
The SLA is agreed between both parties and provides for the following:
- Roles and responsibilities of both NeoGen and subcontractor
- Roles and responsibilities of all personnel involved in the project (clearly defined structure)
- Agreed pricing structure, schedules, lead-times etc
- Problem & conflict management
- Account management structure

We have made ordering print as simple as possible. We have developed a simple to use web based system to manage the procurement of print and ancillary marketing items. Product specifications and customer requirements are set up easily. Our automated system helps get printing-quote requests out faster and responses back sooner. However, we haven’t complicated it, we’ve designed our order processing systems with our customers in mind.
Purchasing and Supply Chain Management
The NeoGen web app (KIT) provides one of the most comprehensive procurement solutions available and permits a fully integrated workflow solution. Specifications captured on the estimate are matched to suitable suppliers based on capabilities. KIT then creates Request For Quotations and emails them to the most suitable suppliers at the click of a button, allowing suppliers to submit responses directly. This provides for a full audit trail and significantly improved communications.
